Many homes built during the Depression years shared much with those designed during the 1920s when the country was flush with cash and optimism. The St. Regis is a sweet English-inspired cottage with a massive chimney, lapped facing gables. The graceful catslide roof on the vestibule at the entry is perfectly suited for coats and storing the vacuum. With three bedrooms and a full bath and a half bath on the main floor, it was quite the fine family home.
